Stack Dampers

General Information

Effox-Flextor offers a wide range of stack dampers. For large diameter round stack outlet dampers, choices can be two-blade, four-blade or multi-blade. For large rectangular stack inlet dampers, blade configurations are designed to meet the needs for flow control of your application.

Blade and Linkage design

Flows to the stack are voluminous and present large mechanical challenges. Our heavy-duty design ensures that blades are heavy-duty, shafts are steady, blades do not flutter, and linkages reliably move the damper blades when they need to be activated.

Optional features

Optional features include safety cages that respect OSHA requirements, FlexShock™ shock absorbers to reduce blade slamming and noise, and view-ports for blade calibration after installation. Insulated blades are available for applications where heat retention is necessary.

Modular design for shipment

For easy shipment, all Effox-Flextor dampers are designed to be shipped in compact modules. All our dampers are fully assembled and tested in our facility, and then dis-assembled for shipment where required.
